I’m Isabel, though you may see it spelled as Izybel at times. In case you were wondering, I am 15 years old and a freshman at an early college. I was inspired to start this blog because of my mom’s blog, and by the movie Peter Pan (hence the title). At 15 years old I am practically an adult, in 3 years I’ll be going away to college and living my own life, everything every little kid dreams of. But what we don’t realize when we are little kids is the things we give up as we get older. We give up the ability to imagine, the ability to forgive, we lose sight of the simple joys in life. I guess my purpose for this blog is to remind everyone and myself of the simple things in life that make us happy. Going to Neverland meant you could stay a kid forever, you could believe in fairies and mermaids and not be afraid to live life to its fullest extent. I think that is something we all wish we could do but few of us do. I hope this blog gives you inspiration and a new perspective on life. Or maybe it just makes you smile(:

  1. Isabel, I am excited that you have a blog now where you can share your thoughts. You are very right – remember the simple things – and live your life to the fullest! But, you can be any age and still be able to do that 😉 You know just as well as I know that “life is not about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself!” Create yourself to be an inspiration to others, a dreamer, a believer, an adventurer, whatever your heart desires… But my sweet Isabel, keep on being YOU! – Ms. Blair

    • Thank you Ms. Blair! Your trip is actually one of the things that inspired me to start this blog. Traveling is a great way to stay in touch with your “inner youth”, and your age does not matter. Have fun on your journey and continue creating your life.
